It features a deep hook slot and sleek streamlined design which make it ideal for weedless rigging and fishing in and around cover and grass  and can be used with almost all techniques and rigs, your imagination is the limit.

Rigging Options

1. Weighted Swimbait Hook:
   • Setup: Thread the Fluke onto a 4/0 to 6/0 weighted swimbait hook (e.g., 1/8 to 1/2 oz, depending on depth and current). The hook point is typically buried in the bait for a weedless presentation.
   • Application: Ideal for shallow water (1–6 feet) or fishing over grass flats, oyster beds, or near docks. The weight allows for longer casts and controlled sinking.
2. Jig Head Rig:
   • Setup: Attach the Fluke to a 1/4 to 3/4 oz jighead, with the hook exposed. The jig head provides weight for deeper water or stronger currents.
   • Application: Best for fishing deeper channels, jetties, or near structure (6–20 feet). The jighead imparts a darting, diving action on the retrieve.
   • Example: A red or chartreuse jig head paired with a white or pearl Fluke for visibility.
3. Texas Rig (Unweighted or Lightly Weighted):
   • Setup: Rig with a 4/0 to 5/0 offset worm hook and a small bullet weight (1/16 to 1/8 oz) or no weight for a natural fall.
   • Application: Excellent for shallow, grassy areas or when targeting spooky fish in clear water. The slow, fluttering descent mimics a dying baitfish.
   • Example: Use in calm backwaters or marshes.
4. Carolina Rig:
   • Setup: Use a 3/0 to 5/0 circle or EWG hook with a 1/2 to 1 oz egg sinker above a swivel and leader (12–24 inches). The Fluke floats above the bottom.
   • Application: Effective for covering large areas of deeper flats or sandy bottoms, allowing the bait to hover enticingly.
   • Example: Fish along drop-offs or channels.
