Custom Bait Shack started the way most good things start — with a problem that nobody was solving. SA bass fishing with lures designed for American lakes. Same colours. Same sizes. None of it matched what SA bass are actually eating in SA water.
So we started making our own. Hand-poured, tested on local dams, refined until they worked. That is the entire philosophy.
I have fished Vaal Dam for 15 years and tried every import brand on the market. Nothing comes close to what Custom Bait Shack produces for our local conditions. The paddle tail in Vaal green is my go-to all year round.
